This episode of Snark Fu brings my friend Nick D. in to talk about farmers markets and the organic/green movement in food spurred on by a Strib article about buying locally (bananas? really?) and making local food accessible. Sounds a bit boring, but we do talk about meat diapers, so that’s a treat.
This week’s Wacky Gadgets are a couple of goodies from Archie McPhee: a Corn Dog Air Freshener and a reusable, recycled PET bag that states proudly “I usually leave this bag in my car“.
And wrapping things up, this week’s Golden Nunchuck Award: the labor of obsession known as “8-Bit Trip“. Fifteen hundred hours of stop motion Lego animation. How is this NOT the most awesome thing you’ve seen? Right.
